What an epic race once again.
Despite a tough final result, huge respect to our two drivers @jamesegozi and @nguyen_owen_tangavelou for bringing it home in a race packed with incidents.

The @grandprixmacau remains a truly unique event — one of the most thrilling racing challenges of the season.

Welcome James Egozi

@sainteloc_racing @jamesegozi @formularegionaleubyalpine
Proud of having in our team @nguyen_owen_tangavelou for @grandprixmacau

Tangavelou stated:
"Driving in Macau is something almost impossible to access. Racing there is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
If I were told earlier in my career that I would race in Macau one day, I would never have believed it.
I’m incredibly excited and grateful to drive with Saint Eloc.
At the same time, I feel a deep sadness knowing this will be the last race of my career. Every single day, the closer we get, the more terrified I feel, terrified not of the race itself, but of the idea I will have to close this incredible journey. But also I am more determined to give everything I have on track. My preparation has been going really well, even after breaking my hand. I’m ready to fight, to enjoy every lap, and to make this last one unforgettable."

🇫🇷 Magny-Cours - GTWC EU R7

Last weekend, we were at Magny-Cours for the 7th round of the GTWC EU 🚦
Our 3 cars were competing : #25, #26 and #27.
We also had an other #25 running in FFSA GT4 France, which took place during the same event.

➜ Race 1 :

In Race 1, the #25 had physically finished P2 in the Gold Cup. However, after post-race checks, the race control handed a penalty due to a restart procedure after yellow flags, which led to classification change 🟡

The #26 faced a similar situation, having crossed the line in P4 Silver, but was officially classified P7.
Despite that, the team showed great potential. The #26 was ranked 5th best pit stop, and our drivers Ivan and Lorens gained 18 positions during the race : an impressive effort !

As for the #27, both drivers were discovering the track for the first time and made steady progress throughout the weekend, improving from P12 in Quali 1 to P9 in Race 2 in the Bronze Cup 📈

➜ Race 2 :

Qualifying 2 proved particularly tricky due to a red flag that shortened the session. With only 4 minutes left and an extra out lap required, our #26 and #27 had just 2 flying laps to set a time : a real challenge.

In Race 2, the #25 rewarded the team’s commitment with a fantastic victory in the Gold Cup 🏆
Meanwhile, the #26 finished P4 on track in Silver Cup, but was reclassified P3 following a time penalty for the car ahead : a positive outcome to close the weekend ! 🔥

The #27 started Race 2 from P3 in Bronze and held onto the position solidly through the first part of the race. Unfortunately, contact from another car during the second stint caused them to lose ground. A setback, but encouraging pace and progress from the crew nonetheless 💪

📍Next stop : Nürburgring for the Endurance Cup, August 30 & 31 !
